The Eden Foundation - Tanzania (TEFT) ni asasi huru ya Kiraia na isiyo lenga Kugawana Faida (Non - Profit Making) iliyo Sajiliwa Kisheria Nchini Tanzania katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Ndani Chini ya Sheria ya Societies Act Cap. 337 R.E. 2002 na kupatiwa hati ya Usajili yenye Na. SO. 15904 ya Tarehe 30 Mwezi Juni 2008.
Makao Makuu ya Asasi hii yapo Mjini Arusha vilevile, asasi hii imefungua Ofisi za Matawi ya Asasi katika Wilaya mbalimbali ikiwa ni pamoja na Karagwe, Ngara, Bukoba, Muleba, Chato, Geita, Kwimba, Missungwi, Arusha, Arumeru, Maswa, Same, Moshi, Ngara, Mbinga, Kasulu na Kibondo.
Hivi sasa Asasi imejikita katika harakati za kuhakikisha kuwa inaweka Matawi katika Wilaya zote za Tanzania Bara na Visiwani ili kutimiza Azma ya kukuza Mtandao wa Kulinda na Kutetea Haki za Binadamu kwa Nia ya Kuleta Maendeleo na Amani katika Tanzania, Africa, na Dunia Nzima kwa Ujumla.
kwa kuweka Matawi hayo, Asasi kwa kutumia Wanachama, Watumishi na Wadau wake wote wataweza kwa nguvu ya Pamoja, kwa kushirikiana na Jamii nzima kuweza kufanya tafiti mbalimbali, Kubaini na Kuchunguza Masuala mbalimbali yatakayoiwezesha asasi kupanga Mipango yakinifu ya Kutokomeza Umaskini na Mateso kupitia Shughuli za Ulinzi na Utetezi wa Haki za Binadamu.
THE AIM OF THE ORGANIZATION
Introduction
THE EDEN FOUNDATIO-TANZANIA (TEFT) is an independent Non Profit Making and Development NGO/CSO founded in the year 2007 in Arusha District, with its main office in SOMBETINI ward.
(i) Vision;
TEFT envisions to improve the lives of the poor people and bringing about peace by Promoting adherence to good governance and sustainable use and Management of Natural Resources and Empowerment of Vulnerable groups.

(ii) Mission;
The mission of TEFT is to collaborate together with other stake holder to capacity building on Community Health, Development, Human Rights & Environmental Management through Participatory Management and innovative Education that guarantees sustainable development for all by 2020.

The life goal of TEFT to have built up the Community of Peace and Tranquility to all over Tanzania and the World at large within twenty years to come.

(v) TEFT’s Programmatic Focus is put to Democracy and Good governance, HIV/AIDS Livelihoods, Natural resources Management, Community based improvement of Environment, Peace building, Equity and Empowerment of Vulnerable groups.
02.2 Aims / Purpose of the organization
1.Main aim:-The main aim of TEFT is to rise up the living standard of poor people in both rural and urban areas by finding the lasting solutions to poverty and suffering through advocacy and service to the most vulnerable groups.
Other aims of TEFT are as follows:-
a Participation in Policy development and Implementation.
b. Enhancing good governance and Civic Rights.
c. Promotion of support to the most vulnerable.
d. Strengthening Lobbying and Advocacy networks among other CSO`S and Community Development groups.
e.To cordially together with the government of Tanzania and other Humanitarian Organizations to Eliminate all forms of discrimination against women.
f.To help dissemination of Natural Health Information in regard to the regulation of the Ministry of Health Social welfare of Tanzania and WHO.
g. Prevention and Fight of CORRUPTION (RUSHWA).
h. To fight against Domestic Violence.
i. To promote innovative Education on Maternal & child health to youths in and out of school.
j.To support Women and Youths development groups by training on life skills, Business Planning & Setting.
k. To fight HIV /AIDS spread.
l. To participate with other stake holders to Community basedEnvironmental Conservation/Improvement.

03.1 Main Objective.
The Main Objective of TEFT is to rise up Living Standards of Poor People in Both Rural and Urban areas Economically, SociallyCulturally and Politically.progressively through Participartory Operationalapproach with stress to Community Involvement and Empowerment.

Strategic Objectives/Activities.
To promote Activities that engaging in policy formulations processes at all community levels. To encourage all traditional healers in order of being free to develop the Natural Health science and technology, Especially in finding the solution for most devastating diseases such as, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Fistula etc.
To fight against out-dated false beliefs (witch craft)
To fight against unsafe birth & abortion
To coordinate with the government sectors, national and international NGO’s on the Production of quality products for natural health.
Prevention of HIV /AIDS pandemic
To give life skills training to all youths.
To give Human Rights Education (HRE) and Advocacy.
Training and sensitization on gender mainstreaming
Establishment and facilitation of pre-primary education centres.
Core activities of TEFT shall be:
